I have now had my ROM machine for over 9 months. Overall, I'd say it's the greatest way I know of to get a workout in 4 minutes per day. I'm an orthopedic surgeon and I ran competitive track from age 5 to age 55 (I'm now 60). Though I no longer run due to an old knee injury, it's more important that ever to me to remain in decent shape. The ROM has accomplished that.
I felt so good that I attempted to run a short sprint workout last month. Two days later my bad knee got fairly tight and reminded me that I need to remain in retirement, but the point is I hadn't even felt good enough to jog across the street for the past 5 years.
In addition, my shoulder, which was operated on many years ago and was giving me a tremendous amount of trouble, feels much better as a direct result of the ROM.
My weight hasn't gone down (in fact I've gained a couple of pounds), but there is much more musculature in my chest & arms so I feel confident in saying that there has been some replacement of fat by muscle.
I love the machine, and I'm going to stick with it.
