The ROM machine. "Exercise in exactly 4 minutes per day. The ROM machine delivers an extraordinary cardiovascular strength and flexibility workout in exactly 4 minutes per day. ROM works all the major muscle groups through their full range of motion utilizing the science of High Intensity Interval Training. Precision engineered and manufactured in California since 1990."
Aside from just how this machine manages to work all major muscle groups in four minutes—a preposterous notion in and of itself—perhaps the bigger question is: What does ROM stand for? My guess: Retard On a Machine. That might sound a bit harsh, but let's be honest. Anyone who shells out $14,615 for a piece of exercise equipment that they'll only use for four minutes a day is retarded. I'd be more politically correct, but if that same guy also believes that he can get a beneficial cardiovascular workout—something that requires at least 20 minutes of moderate to heavy exertion—in only a fifth of the time on this revolutionary piece of equipment doesn't deserve the amount of effort necessary to avoid labeling him as such.
